Summary:

Specialty Veterinary Pharmacy (SVPMEDS) is a compounding pharmacy solely focused on veterinary medicine. We are based out of Houston, Texas, and serve over 40 states nationwide. Our pharmacy maintains a competitive advantage over competitors with unique services and products offered. SVPMEDS is looking for an Area Rep to represent our team and focus on the sales and promotions of its products and services in the respective area.

Responsibilities:

Visit and call on prospective veterinary clinics and current veterinary clinics in the San Antonio area (Driving is required)

Attend local veterinary medical association continuing education programs

Attend local veterinary conferences

Follow up on all leads acquired at local events and leads provided by the company

Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with veterinary clinics and staff

Introduce and demonstrate products and services

Conduct Lunch and Learns with veterinary clinics

Effectively communicate with cooperate office located in Houston, TX

Continuous learning in product knowledge and keeping up with current applicable laws in compounding pharmacies

Promptly responding to customer requests and/or problems

Administrative work to set up new accounts and meet company needs

Maintain the Specialty Veterinary Pharmacy Brand and Standards

Preferred Qualifications:

Have worked in a veterinary facility for a minimum of a year

Experience with pharmacy or inventory management 

Bilingual 

Lives within city limits

Coachable and trainable

Passionate about growth

Clean driving record

Effective communications skills over the phone and in person

Strong presentation skills

Comfortable with meeting new people

Adequate computer skills

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
